Welcome to Bear Country Naturalist Community. I am so happy you are here. If we haven't met yet, my name is Daryl Dancer and yes, that is the name on my birth certificate and I'll be your host.
I'm a nature nerd, textile artist, wildlife naturalist. Not to be confused with naturist, if you know what I mean. Bear viewing is my profession. Grizzly bears are my passion.
Think of me as a bear interpreter, translator, protocol officer, instructing humans on proper bear, etiquette, because if you are still reading, I think you're starting to figure it out, that it's ALL ABOUT THE BEARS!
As a bear lover, outdoor enthusiast, wildlife photographer, or adventure guide, you may have noticed that there's a lot of misinformation about bears floating around out there, and I'm so glad you're here because I get to share with you what I've learned over the past 40 plus years living in bear country (No, I'm not a slow learner, I'm just a late bloomer).
If you stick around, I'm going to help you cut through all the statics so you can help keep bears and yourself safe while having amazing adventures in bear country.
So if you're ready, I'd like to invite you to click on the button below. To find out your next steps on how to interact respectfully and safely with black bears, grizzly bears, teddy bears, and polar bears.
See you on the other side. Until then, happy adventuring.
